first the holidays took over, then i got sick, then fiona got sick.. so now we're back ! fiona loves the girl in the mirror when she takes a bath, so the other day I put her in the tub in her jammies.. she was super happy, as you can see. she was talking & smiling & reaching for her reflection.
here are some other updates :
FRIENDS, she had her friend Henry over for a playdate which was lots of fun !
FOOD, has tried avocado, carrots, sweet peas, green beans, butternut squash, bananas, peaches, pears & prunes.. she sort of likes prunes & beans.. doesn't care for the rest so far.. and both carrots & peaches made her cry ! she does love the social aspect of eating, even she isn't eating much so far.. loves to grab at her spoon and watch us eat.
FUN, still enjoys mama/baby yoga, loves interacting with other babies & watching the "big kids" walk/run around, likes family music time and especially enjoys the songs at baby storytime (at the library). she wakes up every day with a smile. and we can't get enough of her giggles ! she is combining sounds in a sing song type of talking these days... loves to have mom or dad read books to her and although she's not crawling yet, she rolls around like crazy and really loves to practice standing on the floor against a bed or couch to watch the kitties more closely.
